When we get all up in our heads!!!!
Right?
Will I mess this whole thing up?
What if I don’t make the right choice?
What if I let the ball drop?
Am I the only clinical over-thinker in the world? I don’t think so.
I sometimes can get so pre-occupied with succeeding as a Woman of God, that I can be my own worst enemy. The devil doesn’t even have to plant a worry, I create one on my own by my own toxic thinking.
Then…. I take a second and breath in truth. I renew my mind and I calm my thoughts. I read things like Philippians 1:6.
This Word says HE (Jesus) Who began a good work in me, not me who began a good work in me.
Jesus is He who will carry on into completion the work He started in me when I was in my mother’s womb.
He will finish the work in me as a wife. He will finish the work in me as a mother. He will finish the work in me as a Mimi. He will finish the work in me as a ministry lead. He will finish the work in me as a daughter of The King.
Jesus is not one of those fly by night contractors who leave the project half finished. He is the Author and The Finisher!
Jesus is all about finish work.
He’s never leaving me to work alone.
He’s never forsaking me to fend for myself.
He’s never leaving me without tools. He’s given me His Spirit and His Word. He’s given me His Name and His Blood.
He isn’t going anywhere.
He’s going to carry it on to completion.
So today, if you are all up in your head about the details. Let it go, and trust our Jesus! He’s the Author and The Finisher.
He’s Everything to us.
